Last Full Day in Palermo
Friday was a rainy day which limited our wanderings a bit. Did manage to explore a bit around the historical centre of Palermo. Discovered that recovery time from jet lag does not get shorter as one ages. Just stayed for the evening and had an early night.

Saturday was a bright sunny and almost warm day. Did a guided walking tour around the centre
Recovered with a Limoncello Spritz in a nearby piazza afterwards.
Met up with Maria, a Servas host, who toured us through her neighbourhood near the harbour. She then invited us to join her at a International Women's Day fund raising choral concert for Afganistan.
Just figured more Gastroporn required
Picking up rental car tomorrow morning and will try some Sicilian driving. Wish us luck.
